European Under 23 Fencing Championships

Monza has finally found its place in the view of sporting events at an international level.
The calendar this time is proposing the first edition of the European Fencing Championships under 23 to be held at the Palacandy where hundreds of athletes from different countries will all athletes play the six continental titles at stake.
For our city is a cause of pride to further demonstration that the name of Monza not only at league and its prestigious Grand Prix Formula 1 but also to many other sports improperly and unjustly called "minor" and which many satisfactions have given and give to our country.
In particular, the fencing is the discipline that gave Italy the largest number of Olympic medals. Incidentally level youth people of Monza two athletes are achieving extraordinary successes rising often at the top of podii both in Europe and worldwide. I refer to Minute Martino and Arianna Errigo, real stars of the nascent Italian fencing, which hope to be able to participate in this important event despite the young age.
Special thanks go to Brianzascherma certainly, organiser of the championships, born only in June 2005, is already rich in experience thanks to the commitment and passion of its founders.
